Okay, I gotta be honest, I mostly bought this because of the quote. It’s from one of my all-time favourite Satyajit Ray films, Hirak Rajar Deshe, and it always makes me laugh. I was just hoping the shirt itself wouldn’t be cheap feeling.
But I was so pleasantly surprised! The cotton is really soft and it’s a great weight—not see-through at all, but not heavy and thick either. It’s just a perfect, comfy tee.
The fit was exactly what I hoped for. I ordered my usual size and it fits just right—not too tight, not too boxy. The print looks good too; it’s clear and doesn’t feel like it’s going to crack off in the wash.

Finally got my hands on this Satyajit Ray t-shirt from Stilotee.com and it did not disappoint! The quote “Dori dhire maro tab raja hobe khan khan” is from one of my favourite comfort films, Hirak Rajar Deshe, and it always makes me smile.
But the best part is honestly the shirt itself. I’m pretty picky about pure cotton t-shirts because some can be so stiff or thin. This one is seriously soft right out of the package and has a really nice, substantial feel to it. The fit is spot on – I ordered a large and it’s the perfect relaxed but not oversized fit I was looking for. The sleeves are a good length too!
I got it in the heather grey colour and it’s a really nice shade. The print is clean and looks high quality, not like it’s going to peel off.
All in all, if you’re a fan of Goopy Bagha or just want a super comfy, well-made tee with a cool design, you can’t go wrong with this one. 10/10 will probably buy another one in a different colour.
